It's made from bio-material which is created from renewable biomass such as straw and rice husk, combined with plastic and then polymerized. The production process is designed so that its net CO2 emissions are zero.

The Straw Paddle Brush's cushion is ultra-light and is made from natural, rather than synthetic rubber, so its sustainable, biodegradable and can be recycled. There are flexible, soft pins too that massage the scalp and are kinder to hair, meaning fewer breakages and making the Straw Paddle excellent for detangling wet or dry hair.
