All products and product information available on this web site are intended for qualified or training professional hairdressers, beauty therapists and nail technicians only and are for sale on a strictly business to business basis. Customers should be competent in using the products sold on this website. Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd will not be held responsible for any injury or damages in unqualified users of our products. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status, and refuse the order if we believe the person not to be a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using. Products on this site are not for sale to members of the general public.

Please read the terms and condition carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information or clarification. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please discontinue your purchase.

This web site is made available by us, Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd ('Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd') and all references to 'we' and 'us' are to Ultimate Hair and Beauty. All visitors to our web site are referred to as 'you'.

2. The Contract

To make a purchase from our web site, you must complete the on-line registration form.

A binding contract for the sale and purchase of goods between you and us will only come into effect when we issue to you confirmation of order and an order reference number to the e-mail address provided by you on the registration form. We are not obliged to accept any order(s) you submit.

3. Prices

We reserve the right to revise at any time the price of goods offered for sale on our web site without notice. All orders for goods are subject to availability and Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.

Although Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd tries to ensure that prices on this web site are accurate, errors can sometimes occur. (The prices as stated are therefore, indicative only but an accurate total price, including delivery charges, will be confirmed to you when we send you confirmation of our acceptance of your order.) If the price when confirmed, is not to your satisfaction your sole remedy is to withdraw your order and return the goods, to us in an unused condition, if already delivered to you.

Order Cancellations for Genuine Pricing Errors.

To outline the policy regarding the cancellation of orders placed on our online website due to genuine pricing errors, where customers have paid significantly below the standard selling price.

This policy applies to all online transactions where a pricing error has resulted in an incorrect, significantly low price being displayed and subsequently charged to the customer.

- The company reserves the right to cancel any order that falls under this category without prior notice beyond the initial notification of the error.

4. **Refund Process:**
- For cancelled orders due to pricing errors, customers will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation notification, using the original payment method.

5. **Customer Communication:**
- Affected customers will receive an apology for the inconvenience caused by the pricing error.
- The notification will explain the nature of the error, the cancellation of the order, and the refund process.

All prices are exclusive of VAT and are quoted in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated.

Payment in full is required to be made by (any of the following credit cards Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Switch) through this web site prior to dispatch of goods.

3b. VAT Free Offers

In simple terms, our VAT Free offers mean the total amount payable is the pre-VAT total of your order. By law we have to charge VAT on purchases. But don’t worry, on VAT Free days the value of your VAT is deducted from the price of your purchase. So even though VAT is still displayed on your order, it’s the equivalent of you not paying the VAT. For example, if you order an item costing £100 (ex. VAT) the total you would normally pay is £120 (inc. VAT). During a VAT Free promotion, the price of the item is discounted to £83.33 (ex. VAT). Therefore when the VAT is added, the total you pay is £100 which would be the original price excluding VAT. 

Terms & Conditions 
VAT Free is only available on purchases of £25 (exc VAT) and over paid in full on the day. VAT Free cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher unless stated. 
The VAT Free offer does not apply to the purchase of the following products:

VAT Free discount does not apply to the delivery charge and will not be applied to products already subject to a price reduction or discount including contract prices. VAT Free can only be given once per transaction. All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT registered customers can claim back VAT detailed on the receipt. We reserve the right to correct any printing or illustrator errors. Other exclusions may apply.. Standard mainland UK delivery is will be charged at £3.98 inc VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional carriage charges may apply for large or heavy items, or items sent directly from our supplier. Offer validity and expiry is stated on all promotional activity and may be subject to change.

On VAT FREE days there is no free delivery available on orders above £50, however, our 'Click & Collect' option is still free. 
On VAT FREE days you can either use our 'Click and Collect' service or Courier Delivery, however, Ultimate van deliveries are not available on this Promotion' 

4. Delivery

We try to deliver the goods in accordance with the delivery times and charges set out below. Please note the delivery times stated below are indicative only and we are not responsible for any delays. Neither Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd or their designated carrier will accept claims for consequential loss due to late deliveries.

4a. Delivery Charges

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible and orders for stock items will normally be processed and dispatched between 1 and 3 working days from order (exc Bank Holidays), depending on the items ordered. Delivery is either on an overnight service DHL or via Royal Mail Tracked 48 and is £4.00 (inc vat) per parcel for delivery to UK mainland locations only. Extra charges may be applicable for furniture and all deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and the Channel Islands etc.

Currently any order of £50 ex vat and above will enjoy free standard 48hr delivery and orders made through our Ultimate Pro Account will enjoy free next day delivery on orders over £100 ex vat.

Please note, overseas orders are accepted and will charged according to the weight and value for insurance purposes. Please contact us before placing any overseas orders to get a quote for shipping. We reserve the right to charge extra for re-delivery if you are not available to accept or receive the goods when delivered to you. Please note any items not delivered to you will be held on back-order for you and shipped as soon as they become available. There will be no additional charge for this delivery.

4b. Large and Heavy Item Deliveries

Salon furniture will be quoted separately and delivery can be up to 3-4 weeks for customised items. Goods will be sent by our nominated carrier service. Delivery charges vary according to location and goods ordered; this will be confirmed after the receipt of the order. Please be aware that there will be an extra charge for delivery to some parts of the UK (including some parts of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and non UK mainland locations etc.). We will contact you with further details when your order has been placed. As we have to rely on carriers etc., no deliveries can be guaranteed, although every effort will be made to carry out the delivery on the stated day.

5. VAT and other charges

We charge UK VAT at 20% on all orders and this is calculated at the checkout.

All local customs, excise, value added and import taxes are your responsibility and we will not pay these charges.

In addition, we will not be responsible for any costs, fines, taxes or duties incurred as a result of goods being seized outside the United Kingdom. We will not provide any refunds or credit notes in these circumstances.

6. Returns and refunds

It is your responsibility to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and contact us by telephone or e-mail if you do not receive your order or the items appear to be damaged or faulty within 48 hours.

If you believe you have received damaged or incorrect goods, you must contact us by e-mail, or in writing within seven working days of your receipt of the goods and provide us with your order reference number. We will have the goods returned to us and pay the costs of the return shipping. If we do not receive notification within seven days, any shortage, damage or other deficiency will be deemed to have occurred after delivery to you.

If, in our opinion, the returned goods are damaged we will provide you, at our option, with replacement goods or a refund for the total costs of the goods within 30 days of our receipt of the returned goods provided you have complied with the provisions above.

If we find that the goods are not damaged or faulty, we will return the ordered goods to you and you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping. We will also charge you an administration fee of 10% of the cost of your original order.

When goods have been ordered in error or as not expected, the Company may agree to their return on the following conditions.

A request must be made to Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd, within seven days of receipt of goods.

If you wish to return unwanted goods, please ensure that any product you have bought is in original condition, unworn or unused and sent back to us with its original packaging. Please note that all items of furniture are bespoke and made to order, and so we are unable to accept returns on these items, unless they are damaged or faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Due to strict hygiene regulations Ultimate Hair & Beauty Ltd Co cannot accept the return of scissors and razors.

Refunds will be subject to the purchase price less a 10% handling charge. Carriage charges will NOT be refunded.

Returned goods will only be accepted where a returns authorisation has been given. The relevant reference number must be quoted on accompanying documentation. For your own protection, please obtain a receipt from the carrier, as the company accept no responsibility for lost parcels.

Goods which are given free, as part of an offer, are not exchangeable or refundable unless the full offer is returned, subject to normal terms and conditions.

Special or customised items cannot be returned unless faulty.

If you choose to return an item to Ultimate Hair and Beauty please allow 14 days for administration.

7. Descriptions

In describing the Products available on our web site we attempt to be as accurate as possible. Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd, however, does not warrant that Products descriptions or other content of this web site is accurate, complete, reliable or error-free. If a Product offered by us is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the Product in an unused condition in accordance with the provisions detailed above.

8. Your account

If you use our web site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and all passwords. To place an order on this web site, you must be a trading entity (or a professional beauty therapist or hairdresser) (over the age of 16 years) otherwise you are not entitled to complete the on-line registration form required to place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or cancel orders at our sole discretion. We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address given by you for delivery on the on-line registration form at the time of your order and by whatever means we reasonably consider appropriate.

9. User Behaviour

You may not use any of our Sites for any of the following purposes:
  • disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material
  • transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any relevant laws, regulations or code of practice
  • gaining unauthorised access to other computer systems
  • interfering with any other person's use or enjoyment of the Ultimate Hair and Beauty Site
  • breaching any laws concerning the use of public telecommunications networks
  • interfering or disrupting networks or web sites connected to the Ultimate Hair and Beauty Site
  • making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner

10. Ownership of Goods

We will retain ownership of the goods you order until we receive full payment for the order including the applicable delivery charges (including any charges for re-delivery in accordance with Clause 3 above). Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

11. Cancellation and variation of orders

You are entitled to cancel your order for goods (except in respect of an order for bespoke salon equipment, such as salons chairs etc.) at any time up to the point of dispatch.

To vary or withdraw your order you must notify us in writing at the address set out in the contact details below.

As per our returns and refunds policy, if you cancel an order for your own reasons then we reserve the right to charge a 10% re-stocking fee. This will be deducted from your original payment.

12. Availability

All products are subject to stock availability. If we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you we may, at our option, send a carefully selected substitute, alternatively, any sum debited to your credit card will be re-credited to your account and we will notify you by e-mail at the address given by you in your registration form. The refund will be made as soon as possible after such notification and in any event within thirty days of receipt of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

13. Warranty

All products are sold subject to the manufacturer's warranty which we will honour to the extent of such warranty but all products packaged in glassware are hereby expressly excluded from this warranty.

All products sold on this web-site are intended for use by professional hairdressers and beauty therapists only and not for use by members of the general public except under the direct supervision of a trained professional beauty therapist and/or hairdresser and Ultimate Hair and Beauty and the hosts of this web site accept no responsibility for and exclude any and all liability in connection with the use or misuse of any Products purchased on this web site.

We will be entitled to set off any or all sums due by you to us against any or all sums due by us to you.

15. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this Agreement for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.

16. Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the Ultimate Hair and Beauty site is protected by copyright, trade marks, database and other intellectual property rights. You may retrieve and display the content of the Ultimate Hair and Beauty site on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Ultimate Hair and Beauty site without written permission from Ultimate Hair and Beauty Ltd.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate immediately your ability to use any of our internet services at any time.

18. General

These terms and conditions of purchase constitute the entire agreement between us and you relating to the purchase of our products and supersedes all other agreements or understandings between us and you.

Failure or neglect on our part to enforce at any time any of the provisions in these terms and conditions shall not be construed nor shall be deemed to be a waiver of our rights hereunder nor in any way effect the validity of the whole or any part of these terms and conditions nor prejudice our rights to take subsequent action.

If any provision in these terms and conditions is deemed to be illegal or unenforceable by any competent authority such terms and conditions shall to that extent be severed from the rest of the provision of these terms and conditions which will remain in full force and effect. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

19. Loyalty Card

Please note that as of the 1st August 2020 the Ultimate Hair & Beauty Loyalty Card (Instore version) has ceased and no additional points can be collected. We are happy for customers with at least 500 points already collected to be able to redeem them up until 31st December 2020. 

The online only Loyalty Points Scheme is fully operational and working as normal. Please be aware that Ultimate Pro Account holders are not eligible to collect/redeem Loyalty points on that level of account to use against the purchase of products, vouchers etc, either on that account or any additional accounts they may hold.

We reserve the right to disable the Loyalty Points account if one has inadvertently slipped through and points collected via The Loyalty Points Scheme. Those points accumulated with then be un-redeemable.


20. ‘Click & Collect’

With our "Click & Collect" option, simply pay online through our website payment process and arrange to collect instore from any of our locations at your convenience. (See store details page for opening/closing times and location).

Once your order has been received we will send you an e-mail to confirm your order is ready for collection from your chosen store.

Orders do not have to be collected the same day, you can collect your order at your convenience as we will hold your order until you are able to visit your chosen store.

‘Click & Collect is available from any of our store locations. The default collection location is our Progress Road Cash & Carry, if you require a collection from another store then please message us at the time of the Order to notify us of where you would like to collect.

21. The Ultimate Vouchers

The Ultimate Vouchers and e-Vouchers are sold subject to these terms and conditions and by purchasing the voucher you will have been deemed to have read and accepted these conditions. 
The Vouchers are redeemable at any of our store locations as well as on our website (www.ultimatehb.co.uk) in exchange for goods equivalent in value to its full face value.

Photocopies will not be accepted and there are no cash alternatives. They will not be replaced if lost or stolen and they are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If the certificate amount does not cover the full amount of the transaction additional funds will be required to complete this via another payment method.

Please click on 'Pay & Collect' in the checkout page for digital vouchers so that a delivery fee is not applied to your purchase

Ultimate Loyalty Points are not available for purchases made using our Vouchers.

Instore purchases if under the voucher amount, change will be given as a credit note.

Vouchers can be purchased either in-store, online or over the phone (01702 520000) and redeemed at any of our store locations (see ‘how to find us’) or from our website @ www.ultimatehb.co.uk) – Simply enter the voucher code into the ‘Redeem Coupon’ box upon checkout.
